Seen often on early ESPN “Trick Shot Magic” matches, pool trick shot legend Paul Gerni is one of the most recognized, respected, and accomplished professional pool players touring around the world.  Known as “The Ambassador of Pool” and as pool’s “Grand Master of Trick Shots,” Paul has won the Professional World Championships of Artistic Pool (Trick Shots) an astounding 22 consecutive times, the longest championship winning streak in all professional sports.  He has also won trick shooting’s International Challenge Cup 15 consecutive times.  In addition, he has been named the World Trick Shot Artists Association’s Player of the Year for eight of the past eleven years.  In his career, Paul Gerni has won 41 of the 47 professional trick shot championships in which he participated. He started playing pool at age six, and won his first tournament at age seven.  Now Paul Gerni is regarded worldwide as the greatest pool trick shot artist of all time. With his beautiful Pechauer custom cues, he promotes the sport constantly with a full schedule of personal appearances and tours around the U.S., and in 48 countries on five continents around the world.  Paul has written numerous articles for magazines, has made a “show” videotape, and has also performed his trick shots for television programs and commercials, even on selected Royal Caribbean cruise ships.  He was also selected as an original member of Team America, pool’s Dream Team, for the 1994 Mosconi Cup matches in London.  Everywhere pool is played, Paul Gerni is respected for his integrity, his dedication, and for his friendly personality and positive, upbeat promotion for the sport.
